I’m dealing with a situation where the LED marker light is out on my 2017 Sonata. From what I understand, this is part of the headlight assembly, so I’m looking at replacing the entire assembly. I’m considering my options and would appreciate any advice you can offer. Additionally, the replacement seems straightforward, but I’m wondering if there might be other issues to look out for besides just replacing the headlight assembly.
Replacing the entire headlight assembly is likely necessary for the LED marker light. Ensure the new assembly matches your vehicle’s specs. Also, check the wiring and connections for damage when replacing it. Sometimes, moisture issues cause LED failure, so inspect the housing for any cracks or seals that need attention.
The side marker light bulb is separate from the headlight assembly. You don’t need to replace the entire headlight assembly for this issue.
