Absolutely no rubbing! My mechanic made sure of it, as that was my main concern. Everything got realigned, and I can’t tell there’s any difference.
So there’s no rubbing before the lift? I definitely need another cup of coffee. I’m thinking about those (or similar) tires and wheels for driving on unpaved, poorly maintained forest roads, and airing them down on the beach.
I have a Jeep Wrangler. This is a low-cost luxury ride that can easily be turned into a winter ski vehicle while still keeping all the extras the Calligraphy offers.
Be careful putting larger tires on. It messes up the alignment of the steering assist. Hyundai told me they can’t fix it and I need to put the OEM tires back on. I lifted mine and put on 255/50/20 tires. It would be perfect if I could get the alignment fixed.

Wow! Just going from 255/45r20 to 255/50r20 messed up the alignment? Or do you mean the steering assist is malfunctioning now? Either way, that’s disappointing to hear. It’s such a small change.
@Umbrielle
Did you have the shop that lifted your Santa Fe also do the alignment? Did Hyundai give you a hard time about the lift, or was it just the tire size? Sorry, curious minds want to know.
@Umbrielle
I have the Truxxx 1.5 inch lift, and the shop that did it also did the alignment. I didn’t change my tire size, though. But I haven’t had any issues with the automated HDA2 features.
