Rattle Noise on Cold Start up 2011 Santa Fe

My daughter’s 2011 Santa Fe has that dreaded clatter or rattle noise on cold start-ups. Please let me know what you guys think. Thanks ahead.

Heat shields are metal plates that protect various components in the exhaust system from excessive heat. Over time, these shields can become loose due to corrosion or vibration, leading to rattling noises. Inspect the heat shields underneath the vehicle for any signs of damage or looseness. If necessary, tighten or replace the heat shields to eliminate the noise.

Let your daughter know it’s a common issue with these vehicles and there are a few potential causes. You can mention it might be related to oil pressure or timing chain components

I might be able to tighten the heat shield myself. Do you know what kind of tools I’d need?
