It’s beautiful! Too bad you sold it Reminds me of the Accent WRC car.
I have an '03 like this as my daily commuter. It’s noisy, vibrates, rusts like a Mazda, and handles like a lawn mower. But in low-speed traffic, it’s fine, gets decent mileage around town, and is super easy to work on. The 1.6 Mitsubishi engine was used in both Hyundai and Kia for many years, so parts are still available. These cars aren’t speed demons; most owners know they’re just small, efficient vehicles for getting from A to B. I’m glad you liked yours; it looks well cared for. Hope your next car treats you right!
Why did you sell it?
That car needs a 2.0 Beta engine. I like how it looks. I preferred the LC1 a bit more, but I’d definitely drive the LC2 looking like that.
That was my first car too, same color. I miss it! I traded it in for a '13 Accent Hatchback, then that for an '18 Elantra… I miss the '13 Accent the most.
It was voted one of the worst driving cars in history by the Top Gear hosts… But at least you enjoyed it.

That’s a weird comment.

Not really. OP says it’s a fun car, but in reality, it just isn’t.
@Calliope
Another weird comment.

Especially since they mentioned an even slower diesel version.
