2024 sales numbers show only 11 Caspers exported outside of Korea.
Seems like it’s mostly just a Korean thing, unless they’ve just started pushing it to Europe.

I haven’t seen anything about the US government blocking the Casper. Seems like Hyundai just doesn’t want to bring it to the US.

Where’s your source on that? As far as I know, it’s Hyundai’s choice whether or not to sell it here.

It’s because they’re too small and don’t pass US crash safety tests. Just imagine getting hit by a big truck in one of these. It’s banned for a good reason.

It’s literally because they don’t meet US safety standards. Small trucks are banned for the same reason. It’s not about protecting domestic cars, it’s about following safety guidelines. US highways are very different from South Korean streets.
