Using Heet in a Tuscon

I recently purchased a 2012 tuscon with 103,000 miles. We are expecting negative temperatures over the coming weekend and I was wondering if it’s safe to use Heet. Thank you for your time and answers

Heet is an alcohol-based fuel additive that helps prevent water in your gas tank from freezing. This can be helpful, especially if you’re expecting very cold temperatures.

However, with a higher mileage car like your 2012 Tucson, it’s possible there could be other factors affecting starting performance.

Heet prevents water in your gas tank from freezing, useful in cold temperatures. For a high-mileage 2012 Tucson, also check the battery, oil viscosity, starter, spark plugs, and overall fuel system.
