Yeah… it wouldn’t surprise me if the adjuster just said to write it off.
If replacing my fender cost 2-3k, then I’d say this is a 6 to 10k job.

My daughter had a similar accident, but only the front grill, hood, and headlights were damaged. Total cost was $6000. If there’s frame damage, it could be a write-off.

What are those prices? In Europe, that’s a 5k-6k repair.

That’s definitely getting close to that $10k range. It’s hard to say if your car would be totaled. I think they consider a few factors for that.

Why fix it? It’s a Hyundai. Just get a Mazda, Toyota, or Honda.
