What feature does the Palisade have that many luxury cars don’t?

Does anyone know a feature in the Palisade that stands out compared to other luxury vehicles? I’m curious to hear opinions.

They discontinued it years ago, and only had it on the right side. Hyundai/Kia have it on both sides for most of their top trims.

Nope, only Rivian has it.

My 2015 Honda Fit has this feature.

What is this? Because if it’s what I think it is, most new cars have this.

When you hit the turn signal to change lanes it shows the lane you are trying to get into

It’s actually a camera on your blind spot, not just a yellow warning on your side mirrors.

What about the opposite… I wish the Palisade had fold-in mirrors.

Are you talking about side mirrors automatically folding in when parked? Mine does this :thinking: I’m in Australia though if that makes a difference

Just get a Telluride then. Telluride just won’t get power or heated third-row seats, but the manual seats are so much faster than power.

@ElantraLOVEr3
They might be faster but I love that my kids can control the seats. I carry kids home from school and it’s so easy for them to just push a button and know how to work everything.

This was 75% of why we picked Palisade over Telluride. Heated and powered third-row seats. It’s such a random feature, but when most everything else is a wash, the little things specific to certain families rise to the top. The lack of wireless AA for trims with Nav was a negative. In the end, my wife likes the grill. Of all things, a cosmetic feature made the 25% difference.

@VIOLAHZ
I definitely agree with you there. I’m honest when I say I got it on a whim. I went to look at the Carnival but all they had in stock was the red leather and I didn’t want that. So they showed me the Palisade and after a test drive, I went with that. They sold the Telluride with the trim I wanted but honestly, I am so happy I went with what I got. It’s a comfortable ride. We drove from West TN to DC and it was great. Even the kids didn’t have a complaint. They even had room to play and share snacks. It’s such a great car and the little things definitely add up.

Maybe I’m the only one that prefers wired CarPlay. Usually, I want to charge anyway. And many wireless CarPlay’s I’ve used have super annoying lag and random glitches. Wired just works better.

@Tracy
You’re not alone. Every car I’ve had with wireless CarPlay has had insane lag. It sucks, and the wireless chargers in most cars are slow. Give me the cord all day.

I hit a bump and it disconnects. Every phone and every cable I have. Dang it.
