Looks beautiful! Congrats! I’ve had the Calligraphy for 2 years with 28k miles. It’s an excellent car with great ride quality. Very quiet and handles bumps well. The adaptive cruise control is amazing for long trips, it literally drives on its own with minimal intervention. Steering assist is great for daily drives. Overall, it’s the best family SUV anyone could own.

Yes, the dealer treated the seats, added Weathertech mats throughout, and even a Weathertech seat pad and back seat protection. Honestly, you’ll probably see more Weathertech branding than Hyundai

That probably just means they wiped it down with some quick detailer. You should get it treated by a proper detailer for your own peace of mind .

Our 2022 with the same interior is holding up great with our toddler. I applied a leather protectant when the car was new, and everything from dirt to blue jean dye wipes off easily with a good leather cleaner.

I love my Calligraphy!! It looks just like mine with the car seat on the same side (just a different color). I was supposed to be looking at the Kia Carnival but ended up with the Calligraphy.

Haha, same here! Not the Kia Carnival, but we did look at the Kia Telluride.

Just curious, why did you choose the Palisade over the Telluride? My wife couldn’t explain why she didn’t like the Telluride other than the shifter.

My wife didn’t like the square shape of the Telluride and thought it would drive more like a truck. Also, when we looked at Carmax (we didn’t want dealer pressure early on), they had a Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy and a Telluride, but it was the EX model, so lower tier. She decided it wasn’t fair to compare the top trim of the Palisade to the basic trim of the Telluride. I think she was already set on the Palisade after looking at it and driving it. It was the first car she test drove and the only one she drove .

That’s funny. The first car she test drove was the Palisade and 8 months later, it’s what we ended up getting .
Love it! I have the same one in blue with black interior; I envy the white interior .
