Jokes aside, you should take it to the dealership.
I hate those software problems; you always have to go back to the dealer.

You’ve never heard that funny saying? Like reason it isn’t working means it ain’t got to gas in it?

Oh lol, yeah it’s on a full tank. It better be that way when I pick it up from being fixed :joy::joy:

@TomHenry
Sorry my sarcasm in jokes sometimes doesn’t go far.

Neither does your grammar.

The more gadgets there are in a car, the more likely it is to break.

And the higher the insurance. That’s why I didn’t go electric. They told me $400 extra a month :scream:.

I heard that about electric cars! Your insurance is like $2000 a year!! That’s with good credit too!

That’s all I see :joy::joy::joy:. I have polarized lenses so I was tripping at first. Took them off and nope, it’s messed up.

Hmmm, electrical issue indeed. I bought a 2021 Hyundai Elantra at the end of 2020 and had nothing but problems. Every day I’d awake to it being dead. Unfortunately for me, this was while the pandemic was going on, so I had to wait 6 months for a date I could bring it in for servicing. I finally brought it in, and sure enough, they said it was just the battery and replaced it. I said no way but got told that is the issue. I get home, and sure enough, the next day it was dead on my driveway. I called the Hyundai service department, and they told me the next available appointment was 3 months out. I complained from one person to the next until finally they said they could squeeze me in, in a week. So the day comes, and sure enough, I have to jump my car just to get it to the dealership for servicing again. After a few hours, I get told they can’t replicate the issue, and they just replace the battery. I was astounded as there is no way it’s a battery issue. They send me on my way. I wake up the next day, and sure enough, my car is dead again. I finally had enough and was able to sell it to CarMax. So I owned the car about 1 year and had nothing but headaches. I believe the digital display on the dashboard never shuts off even when the car is off, which is causing it to drain the battery. I could be wrong, but it’s definitely an electrical issue with this particular style of Elantra.

@ElantraLOVEr3
Wow, that’s the issue I have on my 2024 Santa Fe, and it’s been at the dealership since October. With no word when it will be fixed. Hyundai is the worst to deal with corporately. Told me, “Be patient, you will get your car back eventually.” I’m done with Hyundai. I get things happen, but I will never get another one. 10 years and 5 cars, and they don’t care. So neither do I.

@Gia
Sorry to hear! Yeah, I have a 2012 with 249k miles still going. My advice is to get rid of the car as soon as you get it back. No point in paying a car payment on a car you can’t drive.

@ElantraLOVEr3
WOW!

The more Hyundai owners you meet, the more you hear these stories. That’s why I also sold my Hyundai after 12 months. So many problems.

Did you pick up a star?
