What’s your general opinion on Hyundai?

They offer nice cars with good fit and finish, great features, and reliable engines, along with decent service; however, the only drawback is their inferior build quality.

I drive a Venue since I only use it in the city and have had no issues with its construction. Before that, I had an i10 that I used for 12 years, and it also performed well. Based on my experience with the i10, my father chose to go with the Venue, which we bought just one week before the 2020 lockdown.

They offer the best value at this price point. We have two in the family, and both have proven to be incredibly reliable, providing a solid ownership experience.

They’re good cars; we’ve owned Hyundais for 18 years, and they’ve never let us down. They have solid build quality and are very reliable. However, they should focus more on structural rigidity, as they do provide a lot of safety features.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but it’s widely accepted in the general market.

Every car they produce is a standout; none of them are disappointing. They really understand what Indian consumers want in a vehicle.

Edit: All their cars are superstars except the Aura—nobody seems to care about that one! :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh, the memories! I worked really hard for two years and saved up for a ₹1.63 lakh down payment to buy an i20 Sports as my first car. I even managed to get a loan approved from SBI. I upgraded just a year ago after spending five years with it. It was an excellent car with great service; I never experienced any breakdowns or headaches from the purchase.

One of the best affordable foreign brands in India, they have made it possible for many middle-class families in the country to achieve their dream of owning a car.

With each new generation, they seem to challenge themselves to make their car designs look worse. Maybe they’ll break this trend with the next generation.

They make good cars and provide great service, but it would be better if they invested more in safety features.

I would love to see them venture into the EV segment in the future with more Ioniq models, like the Ioniq 6, as well as smaller models in the ₹20-30 lakh range.

I’ve owned the Eon LPG from 2012 to 2021.
