2024 Santa Fe Screen Media Issue

WTF? My Santa Fe is still having issues daily, and the dealer says they can’t help me unless it’s happening at the dealer?

The dealer is incompetent. There is a TSB for this and how to repair it. I’ve done a few myself; it’s pretty easy.

Even with the audio doing that when the car is off? The dealer had no idea about a TSB, but I just printed it off for them. SMH.

Honestly, I didn’t watch it with sound. But the screen flickering is known. The audio issue is a bit different though.

The audio is new. I’ve had glitching since July, but the audio issue started earlier this month.

There is a TSB out for it. Since you have proof of it flickering, I don’t see why the dealer wouldn’t fix it. TSB

They said, ‘it has to be doing it when I bring it in.’

@NeonNinja
Show them the TSB, the video, and drop it off. Don’t pick it up until it’s fixed.

I’m calling corporate today. I don’t have an extra car right now and I have kids. My husband has the other car and he’s out of state on a TDY.

I have a 2024 Tucson that is doing the exact same thing. Is there a TSB for that?

Somewhat joking response… have you tried whacking it?

Yes, hahahaha.

Huge regret buying this car. Mine is a 2021, but there’s always something wrong.

Try deleting Spotify.

My phone wasn’t connected to CarPlay anymore though.

In the video, it is. It’s in the middle of a Bryan Martin song on Spotify. That’s why I suggested deleting the app because Spotify is known to cause CarPlay to crash.

@Cynthia
No, it’s not. My WiFi and Bluetooth were off, which is why this video has the audio. The screen was stuck in a glitch.

@Cynthia
And how is CarPlay making the sound stay on when the rest of the car is off?

Have you tried disconnecting the battery?

Do folks still purchase Hyundai or Kia products?
