Just got my new Kona N Line this week and the key doesn't impress me

@Nolan
I haven’t done it, so I could be mistaken

This key looks like a toy from the early 2000s

I actually like it. I thought the use of the negative space to form the Hyundai H was rather creative.

I like it because it represents the Hyundai emblem

What’s with all the hate for this key fob? I really like it and wish I had one too

I agree, it’s ugly

How much did you spend again?

Lol, it’s priced at £42k, but I scored it on a lease deal for £250 a month

True!

That’s standard pricing in the UK. Although that is really high for a Kona. You wouldn’t pay that much for one.

£42k is closer to what you’d expect for a Tucson or Ioniq 5/6 Premium, though the new Tucsons are pushing near £50k these days.

@Puck
£50 thousand for a Hyundai? What on earth happened

I even tried creating my own version with 3D printing in ABS plastic. If anyone’s interested in the files, I can send them through email.

The original electronics fit into my plastic housing design. The button design could use refinement, but I just haven’t felt like refining it further.

@MonicaChesterfield
This is the kind of key design that Hyundai should consider. It looks so much better in black and silver

I like the new key. It’s quite large. Hyundai should’ve been able to integrate the physical key inside the fob.

You can return the vehicle without any trouble if you are unhappy with the key fob.

I think the new key fob is fine

Looks a bit like a butt plug
